Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a locally based food distribution approach that creates a relationship between local growers growing healthy fresh food and local people wanting to eat it. If the weather does not favor a particular crop one season then it will favor another-we can all adapt. You always get the best! The simplicity of box orders enables our people with special needs to be fully involved with the planning, production and packing.
How it works
The CSA provides you with fresh, high quality, certified organic, vegetables and produce. It provides us with the basis for our therapeutic, inclusive life and work. Win, Win!
In 2016, 220 families will be fed through our CSA. We offer two options, a Homesteader Box for full veg and groceries, or just a Garden Box for veg only. There are three box size options to suit a larger family, a small family/couple or a single person. We also have meat shares available of our own pork and beef, and a bakery option. You can combine these options as you like and also order from the weekly online store to supplement your regular delivery. Choose well and you can be eating full array of fresh baked goods, jams, pickles, vegetables and meat from June to December and beyond!
We deliver to the following site locations: Stillwater, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, Maplewood, Minneapolis (Lake Harriet, 17th Ave, Lowry Hill, WBOB) Golden Valley and St Paul (Lincoln Ave) as well as offering pick up here at the farm. You pick up the box with your label on from the site nearest you, return your empty box from last week, and enjoy!
